24th Day

I was gone for awhile to take care of my new born baby!!  What a wonderful thing to be a mother!!

Yesterday, my inlaw stopped by and brought me few boiled eggs.  She told me that on the 24th day of a child's birthday, it is Taiwanese tradition to give baby a haircut and adults to eat red eggs (she does not know why).  We did not give baby E haircut because he really does not have a lot of hair but we ate the egg to celebrate.  Those eggs are not in red color but they are beautiful.  I am not sure where to buy nature dye nowadays anyway.

Aww! That's a cute tradition! Babies in Korea sometimes get their heads shaved so that they get a thicker amount of hair...

I am gonna be in Cali but I want to see the wee one when I get back!!! :-D
