Tres is just a small quiet dog!

After both parties started negotiating the sales contract, the broker contacted us and told us that we can't have a dog in the apartment that we intended to purchase (what happen to the fact sheet that the broker handed out?).  For 1 week, we have been trying to figure out how to get dog exception from the board.  The latest is that the board wanted us to put down a felt acoustical padding in addition to the wall to wall carpet.  Also, if anyone has any complain about Tres. he would have to be removed from the unit.

This is all because we have Tres.  He is a 12 lb Boston Terrier who gets constant manicure and pedicure (hence the short nails) and he does not bark indoor at all.  All he does in the apartment is sleep.  After calling around the carpeting company trying to figure out what the hell felt acoustical carpet is, we are ready to look for another apartment.  The thing is that we don't even know whether other apartments would have the same craps that we have to deal with.

Did you see my big belly?  the board is so concern about the noise of a ninja dog.  Maybe I will wait the baby comes first before we have the board interview meeting if we decide to go ahead and agree on their request.  I cannot imagine the board sees my big belly and that is a direct link between baby and noise.  I have a feeling that I will not get the board approval, although the board does not need to give me a reason.  This is insane!  No wonder people who live in Manhattan are stressed.
