We joined the 30-minute guided tour by April, one of the tribal members. Even though, this pueblo is a well maintained one, the membership is only 3,000. April gave a very brief information of the geography, language, history and culture of this particular tribe. During this time of the year, tribal members come back to fix the houses before the winter comes . The oldest building dated back 1,000 years ago (it is 5 store high!!). Even though, the tour was in early morning around 9 a.m., April was using an umbrella. But later on, we found out that she was the smart one, we both had some suntan from just walking around.
Maybe one day, there will be this kind of authentic tour provided by indigenous people in Taiwan.
