I went to Candle Cafe with my cousin today for lunch. The food was good and I had a lot of fun spending time with my cousin. I really enjoy vegetarian food. Maybe I can become a vegetarian and eat seafood occasionally (or steak sometimes). For $19 lunch dish, it was a lot of food, there were 2 huge piece of almond crusted tofu, sauteed vegetable and a lot of lentil. I only had half of my meal and asked a waiter to wrap the rest to go. Of course, I forgot to take the food. This is what happened when I was paying too much attention to others (there was this gorgeous woman sitting at the next table, baby was making a lot of noise, I had to move the table so my cousin and her baby could come out....etc.) so much distraction.
Four hours later, I started to feel a little hungry and I thought about the left over lunch. Then I realize that I never took it. While I was standing in the kitchen eating a day old bread, I thought about whether the restaurant threw away my food already. Should I call and explain that I had lunch there today and forget the doggie bag (do people still use this term?). It was really a lot of food that I planed to have for the next day. This is bad, I really throw away my food and my money to the garbage.
