I am back!

I am sitting at the dinning table looking at the beautiful flower arrangement by Saipua.  Gosh, such gorgeous begonias posted on the blog.  The background music is Bueno Vista Social Club.  Just at this point, this very most satisfying moment, upstairs starts drilling the dame hole in god knows where.  This reminds me of one of the episodes in the Sex and City that Carrie went to a nearby hotel to finish her deadline while Aidan was finishing her floor.  Ok, it was not as bad because at least the drilling is not in my apartment.

Somehow, this is one aspect of having a job outside of your own home is that you don't hear any renovation noise of your apartment building while you are at work (Duh).  I noticed that there were so many renovations in this building ever since last summer.  This past weekend, we went apartment hunting in the city, i.e. touring open houses.  All the buildings that we visited needed to have some major renovation on their hallway (some of them look like still from 1970) hence the maintenance charge will go up.  I think I am ready to move to Brooklyn now (more green, lower building, sunshine).

Today is pretty cold (low 30s) and I have no motivation to venture out.  Tres is the same way.  But why?  I thought this breed is called "Boston" terrier.  They were originally breed in Boston (let me check the temperature in Boston now, 31 degree and feels like 21 according to the weather channel)  but this dog is so afraid of cold.  He just wants to sit in front of the heater.  He plays in front of the heater. naps in front of the heater and he even sticks his head out of his bed so that it would be closer to the heater.  Does that sound like the type of dog that is from the north?  Unlike me,  I am from the island (and the current temperature is 64 degree and it's in the middle of the winter) Of course,  I am afraid of cold.

I am very looking forward to the Boston Terrier meet up group this weekend.  Just update Tres' picture on the group website and give a little introduction.  It is his first play date!
